Denise Pirrotti Hummel, J.D. brings a wealth of knowledge related to Purpose and to Diversity & Inclusion, particularly as it relates to the connection between inclusion, purpose and business performance. She began her career as an employment lawyer by litigating and winning the first class action under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
She moved into international M&A people integration in order to experience more of the globe and developed a model of cross-cultural optimization that led her to develop a consultancy, Universal Consensus, LLC. That company’s model of culture integration has been utilized in some of the largest tech and life sciences mergers of this decade. The firm was acquired by Ernst & Young, where she became a Principal leading Talent, Inclusion and Innovation. Her work has been incorporated in many Purpose-Led Transformations in enterprise domestically and abroad.
Now Founder & Chief Innovation Officer of Lead Inclusively, Inc., Ms. Hummel helps clients integrate business strategies that enable diverse talent to positively impact organizational success. She is a serial entrepreneur, IDEO™ certified in “Leading for Creativity,” Ted Talks™ finalist and is on Marshall Goldsmith’s final legacy coaching team. She is also President-Elect of Conscious Capitalism San Diego and Committee Chair for the Life Sciences Committee of Athena. A staunch advocate of a diverse workforce, her mission has always been measurable action driving tangible business results.
